Evan is now more linguistically aware and makes cautious considerations when he speaks with others who only understand English. For instance, It is curious to see how his voice changes (high pitch, almost nervous) when he speaks English. It is clear that he’s not comfortable with speaking it even though he understands it quite well. He rather have me translate for him; which reminds me, I need to stop doing that! I want him to be more comfortable with English, but then again, this will happen when he’s older. Ethan on the other hand, continues mixing both languages and but nominating Spanish.
