Some updates post-covid 19 quarantine

Ethan is getting so big and stronger. He is now more daring and adventurous than his big hermano. Today (9/27) for example, we went to the park and he was climbing the ladders with more control and ease. this video shows how strong and confident he is. Also, I'm loving how he's expressing himself:

"Que'so" - what's that/this

Evan continues to surprise me. He's talking more and more everyday. If I don't pay attention to him when he speaks, he'll make sure to let me know. Today[9/29] we went to Melissa's office - that was so much fun for the kids.We also hung out on campus; the kids rode their bike and were soooo happy. 

Today [9/30] we forgot Baba, Evan's stuffed animal at the school, he cried for it but daddy talked to him and calmed him down. 

Her are some phrases he said during this time:
"Tan 'tor" Evan is a doctor 
"Tan quiere" Evan wants
"Titi quiere queso" Ethan wants cheese 
"Mio cama Titi. Tuya alla" - my bed Ethan. Yours is over there.
"Tan no quiere" Evan doesn't want
"Espera a Tan" wait for Evan 
"Tan queye ir a tasa de Eyi Quinn" Evan wants to go to Ellis's and Quinn's house.

Nuevo año 2024

Evan is about to turn 6, and still prefers to speak Spanish while also acquiring English. He’s new thing right now is saying “bruh” hahaha.  Ethan, is following his big brothers foot steps, and while he does prefer Spanish, he is more Spanglish driven then Evan.  What I’m struggling right now is controlling the use of bad words they’re uttering everyday. The ones they prefer are English: “Butt hole” “Booty head” “fucking nuggets” “fucking…” oh my, now that I’m actually writing them out, they sound awful. I have to confess, they get this from me.

First Mountain Day

Today I decided to have a single mom-son date with Evan. In the morning I told him we will be dropping Ethan to school and then him and I would go to the mountains(the pennicles). This is a celebration Betra College has once a year with students, faculty and staff. This year was my first one and we absolutely loved it. I decided to take Evan only because his older and I thought he would enjoy it much better than Ethan.  Evan's phrase of the day is: "Tan quiere go a laTaña" - Evan wants to go to the mountains.

¿Estoy Guapa?

I asked Evan: Is daddy handsome? ¿Está guapo papi?  He responded,  "está guapo papi." He is handsome. Then I asked if mami was good looking, he then looked at me up and down and then responded, "Mami no guapo, Mami ta sucio." Basically, I'm not good looking and I'm  dirty - =[ Talking about kids being truthful! I haven't taken a shower yet from my 10k run and I do look like a need a shower lol.
